The objective of the Women’s March on Washington was to (1) support women’s rights and many other issues facing Americans’ today. Some examples: (2) immigration reform, (3) healthcare reform, (4) protection of the natural environment, (5) LGBTQ rights, (6) racial justice, (7) freedom of religion, and (8) workers’ rights. The objective and purpose of the march is a great idea that should be supported!
However, there was some hypocrisy we need to talk about. I am talking about the appearance of Senator Cory Brooker, Senator Kamala Harris, and Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz (heck even Madonna). I thought this grand event was all about Pro-women march!!
The problem with these people:
1) U.S Senator – Cory Booker:
There were 13 Democrats that voted against an amendment that Bernie Sanders proposed that would allow pharmacists to import identical, but cheaper, prescription drugs from Canada and other countries. One of these “democrats” was a highly profile Senator name: Cory Booker. The funny and also sad part was Senator Ted “freaking” Cruz and Senator John McCain voted in favor of the amendment!
Bernie Sanders (which I admired) said on the Senate floor “Millions cannot afford the medicine they desperately need, but at the same time the drug companies make out like bandits and their CEOs earn exorbitant compensation packages,”
He also said: “We are the only major country not to negotiate drug prices with the pharmaceutical industry. You could walk into a drugstore today and the price could be double or three times what you paid a year ago, and there is no law to stop them. They can and they will raise prices as high as the market will allow. And if people die as a result of that, not a problem for them. People get sick, not a problem for them.”
This is what Americans in the poor and middle class are facing (which includes women who cannot afford their medication)! The reason why Cory Booker vote against it was “the amendment didn’t have drug safety provisions”, but this claim is false due to the fact that the amendment is a stepping stone that will help let future legislation that would have those safety provisions be implemented.
Why did Cory Booker use false claims? He is one of the top recipients of campaign donations from Pharmacy/Drug industries such as Merck & Co, Johnson & Johnson, Novo Nordisk, Novartis, and so forth!
Good luck having Cory Booker supporting as well as voting for objective #3 “Healthcare reform”.

2) Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz:
Oh boy, where to start! If you haven’t read or watched the 2016 US Primary Election… she is one of the main reason why President Donald Trump was elected.
What did Debbie Wasserman Schultz do?
The short answer: She place her finger on the scale for Hillary Clinton
She scheduled the Primary Debates to have low viewership as possible! There were only 6 Democratic debates in the Primaries!!!! For instance, Saturday night’s Democratic debate in Manchester, New Hampshire was on the same day as the Saturday night NFL football game on CBS. Another example, the next debate in January will take place on a weekend, at the same time as an NFL playoff game.
It goes to show how she really cares about the American people, especially poor and middle-class women. She doesn’t want to let Americans hear and watch what their potential president’s policies and ideas!
Also, the Observer mentioned: “in 2013, Politico reported she planned to accuse President Obama with allegations of sexism and anti-Semitism if he attempted to replace her as DNC chair”
Do you really want Debbie Wasserman Schultz to represent “women” in politics?
During the 2016 US election, Wikileaks show that the DNC corruption
with the Hillary Clinton campaign. For example: Wikileaks found that DNC use “Sanders’ religious faith, or lack thereof, could be flagged as a way to dissuade voters from backing him in Bible belt states”
Is it a bit odd that she got removed from the DNC Chair and then immediately got a new job in Hillary Clinton’s campaign?
In summary: DWS has proven herself to be corrupt, incompetent, and unwilling to run an impartial primary. She tipped the scale for Hillary Clinton, as a result, divided the Democratic party (e.g., neo-conservative/moderate liberals vs. progressive voters) and her corruption leads to Donald Trump being president. As of right now, Donald Trump signed a “ban on providing federal money to international groups that perform abortions, or provide abortion information, to all organizations receiving U.S. global health assistance” (Edith M. Lederer / AP, TIME)

3) Senator of California – Kamala Harris: She was the one who did not prosecute Steve
Mnuchin & OneWest Bankers and failed to explain why! Why is it so important? Steve Mnuchin is Donald Trump’s nominee to run the Treasury Department and served as CEO of OneWest from 2009 to 2015. The California attorney general’s office said they had found over a thousand violations of foreclosure laws by his bank during that time, and predicted that further investigation would uncover many thousands more (Reference: memo published by Intercept). Kamala Harris’ office declined to file a civil enforcement action against the banks. Hmm… what does this mean? Perhaps,
she is a democratic sellout who protect the wealthy people and not the general public (which includes women that were kicked out of their homes due to Steve Mnuchin). As a reader, you may say there may be a reason behind this that you don’t know about? Here are the facts:
Steve Mnuchin donated $592,600 to Republican in 2016 ( which includes $430,000 to Donald Trump) as well as gave one donation of $2000 this year to “a Democrat” to help elect that “Democrat” to the U.S Senate … I wonder who that is? You guess it!: Attorney General Kamala Harris

Why are those three people the problem with Women’s March on Washington?
I feel these 3 people who are not for the common people, but for their own gain delegitimize the march and what it stands for.
Please feel free to comment on your opinions and whether or not I am “too” harsh on these politicians.
