Nguyen – As an Asian man, Movember was a struggle. There were no styles I can choose from, for instance, long hair with man bun, Santa Claus neck-beard and so forth because my facial hair cannot grow fast or thick enough -cries-. My only option was a mustache and a goatee. By the way, Wing really hates it when I grow my facial hair.
Thankfully, I was a bit bless with some facial hair unlike my son, Mao, with his whisker-like facial hair or this guy on the picture below.
I thought my facial hair would be similar to this guy :
But, I am sadly mistaken. 😦
Joking aside, the whole purpose of Movember is having a group of ordinary men taking on a high-rank mission which is to grow a mustache for charity in November, in order to raise awareness about men’s health such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health issues. Very similar to breast cancer awareness, where it is a global movement.
